This is the room that Barbra Streisand used as inspiration when she designed her set for her last concert tour. It is a perfect room! Have a great week, Lisa
Miss Streisand has innately impeccable taste. It has become refined with observation. The American Federal period is her favorite. She was introduced to the English version by the late Sir Cecil Beaton whom designed all her costumes and the "throw back in time" sets for Barbra's tour de force "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever". If you appreciate Mr. Jefferson's Monticello, may I suggest you Google "Madison's Montpelier" (only recently recently restored to the period when James and Dolley left Washington and retired to this incredible home for the rest of their days. The American Federal Period is (even in the vernacular) so refined and tasteful.
